The Omnia Insights #23
🏀37th Anniversary, March Madness in Hiring, Teaming & Coaching
Is it just us or are you also prone to picking your March Madness bracket based on your favorite uniform color or mascot names? As the NCAA tournament days come to a close, many of us are still playing a last-minute game of ‘bracketology,’ trying to perfect that final four selection.Â
Experts say the odds of randomly picking a perfect bracket are about 1 in 9.2 quintillion. Pretty tough odds. There’s another, and arguably more important, bracket you need to consider – your team bracket. Thankfully, hiring a winning team can have better odds!
In this issue, we show you how to use benchmarking and our assessments to hire solid talent, build a winning team and amp up your team bracket.
On a different note, we had our 37th anniversary this month. We invited our CEO and co-founder, Heather Caswell, to tell the story of Omnia. And what can be a better occasion than Women’s History Month to honor our inspiring and fearless leader who spearheads our growth and is a voice of influence in the industry.
Our Omnia First Friday Fundamentals series continues to generate traction. Our third interactive session took a deep into how businesses can apply personality insights to real-world scenarios.
Despite the better odds, it’s still essential to pay close attention to selecting your starting lineup, coaching to your team’s strengths, and adjusting your “second-string” as needed. It might require some good number crunching with real, actionable data, but it would surely pay off.
Here’s hoping your team made it to the Final Four! See you next month!
