The Omnia Insights #25
💵 Sales Success, Sales Leadership & Company Updates
As much as we think we’re living in a completely self-serve “digital world” where there is no need for traditional outbound sales, it’s just not true. Whether your company relies on an in-person or virtual sales model, you need competent, sharp, intuitive sales professionals to drive your business.
In this “Great Talent Crunch,” it’s critical that you successfully recruit then retain your top sales talent. Conventional wisdom and our industry benchmark research suggest that successful salespeople have certain natural behavioral traits, such as assertiveness and resilience that help them stand out. Identifying such traits is crucial to gathering accurate insights about sales candidates and improving your chances of success by making informed decisions. This is where scientific talent assessments can help you level up.
In this issue dedicated to sales success, we show you how to determine the sales type – Hunter or Farmer – you need on your team and how to lead your sales teams to victory. We also give you the perfect recipe for sales success with the right mix of traits. And get ready to prep and coach your frontline service teams to cross-sell and upsell to get you to that sweet spot of finding the right balance of service and sales.
Join our First Friday Fundamentals webinar. Next month, we are spotlighting our Professional Development Report, which is proving to be a strong asset for organizations looking to proactively offer employee development opportunities and improve retention.
There is no prize in sales for second place. It’s win or nothing. The masters know this and fight for that winning edge. Everything depends on how well you hire your key players and how good your sales team turns out to be. Omnia’s assessments can help you with that.
See you next month!
