The Omnia Insights #68
🎄 A Season of Connection at Omnia
Omnia is a fully remote team, so it meant a lot to come together from different parts of the country to celebrate the season at the Bayshore Regency Club House. On December 5th, our Day of Connection was one of those days that stays with you. We started with a State of the Company debrief, then slipped into pure holiday joy: Christmas emoji guessing, movie trivia, the oven mitt game (as chaotic and hilarious as it sounds), and a spirited gift exchange where the “steal” option kept everyone on their toes.
As we head into 2026, we keep coming back to a simple idea we care deeply about: build the company everyone loves working for. That kind of workplace is not built on perks or luck alone. It’s built on the day-to-day choices leaders make, who you hire, how you develop people, and how you support teams through change. To our customers, partners, and new friends, thank you for letting Omnia be part of that work with you this year. We’re genuinely excited for what’s ahead and look forward to continuing to help you make talent decisions rooted in behavioral insight so your people can thrive and your organization can grow with intention.
In the spirit of the season, we’re also celebrating Cookie Recipe Month at Omnia. Our team is sharing family favorites plus original creations in our weekly blog series, along with the stories behind them. Here’s to small traditions, shared joy, and a little sweetness as we close out the year.
From Our Kitchen to Yours
Do You Give Snickerdoodle Energy?
Tonya’s soft, chewy Snickerdoodles are dusted with cinnamon sugar and full of personality. This post pairs a classic Snickerdoodle recipe with a playful look at “Snickerdoodle energy,” the kind of presence that feels warm, dependable, and quietly memorable, with just a hint of spice. A fun way to connect personality, work, and a cookie that never goes unnoticed.
Not My Mama’s Chocolate Chip Cookies
Alaina’s love of baking started with her mom’s famous chocolate chip cookies, the kind friends would happily show up for, even if it was partly for the warm-from-the-oven treat. Inspired by that tradition, Alaina shares her own festive twist on a classic, a soft, customizable holiday cookie recipe, plus a pro tip for perfectly round, bakery-style cookies.
Grandma Bea’s Almond Crescents and the Sweet Spot of Behavioral Diversity
Naomi shares a cherished family tradition rooted in her grandmother’s kitchen. These delicate almond crescent cookies, shaped by hand and dusted with powdered sugar, are more than a holiday treat. They’re a symbol of connection, heritage, and the beauty of differences that come together. The story weaves baking with a thoughtful reflection on behavioral diversity and what makes teams stronger.
