As we close out 2024, it’s incredible to look back on the ways we’ve come together as a team at Omnia to make a difference in our community. We continued our tradition of giving back, driven by our commitment to support those around us. Despite the challenges and changes in the world, our dedication to community service has remained a constant source of inspiration and fulfillment.
Our team members have poured their hearts into various initiatives, each one chosen to address the needs we care most about. From supporting education to honoring our service members, we’ve made it a priority to contribute positively to the lives of others. Our website lists all the organizations we support. Here’s a look at the community service highlights that defined our year:
Q1 – Goodwill’s Cards of Encouragement
To kick off our quarterly community service initiatives for 2024, The Omnia team partnered with Goodwill for their Cards of Encouragement and Rock Painting activity. Cards of Encouragement helps spread positivity to individuals supported by Goodwill, offering uplifting messages to brighten their day and provide a sense of connection. Our painted rocks were used to help decorate Goodwill’s Hippie Dash fundraising event. We were thrilled to contribute to Goodwill’s mission of empowering people through education, training, and employment opportunities. It was a rewarding experience to share kindness and creativity while giving back to our community!
Q2 – Hillsborough Education Foundation
In the second quarter, Omnia hosted a successful school supply drive in support of the Hillsborough Education Foundation, an organization helping to equip local students and teachers with the tools they need to succeed. At the Omnia Group, we believe that investing in education is investing in our community’s future, and we’re proud to contribute to such a meaningful cause.
Q3 – Operation Gratitude
For Q3, Team Omnia was thrilled to support Operation Gratitude at our All Hands Meeting by crafting cards filled with heartfelt messages for service members, veterans, and first responders. This was our way of saying “thank you” to those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our country and the caregivers who dedicate so much of their time to supporting their loved ones. We know these cards will bring a smile and a reminder of how much their sacrifices are appreciated.
Q4 – Holly Jolly Cleanup
On December 3rd, the Omnia team joined the Holly Jolly Cleanup, hosted by Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful, to help make our city shine a little brighter this holiday season. Alongside an incredible group of volunteers, we spent a chilly morning picking up litter and spreading cheer in the community we’re proud to call home. Our beloved Tampa Bay was hit hard by 3 hurricanes this past fall, so it was rewarding to know we helped in some small way with beach cleanup. It was a rewarding experience to see the collective impact of our efforts and share in the holiday spirit through service. Giving back has never felt so festive!
Toys for Tots
Rounding out the year of committing to make a positive impact in the community, we held our annual Toys for Tots toy drive benefiting the Marine Corps mission to ensure that no child feels left out during the holiday season. Our small but mighty team certainly hopes to make a difference with their generous array of donations!
Looking Ahead to 2025
As we look forward to 2025, we are excited to continue our journey of community involvement and service. The experiences and connections we’ve made this year have not only enriched the lives of those we’ve helped but have also brought our team closer together. We are committed to finding new ways to give back and make a positive impact in the year ahead.
